Musical Improv 2-Day Intensive

Learn how to take your improv scenework to the next level by putting your thoughts into song! In this workshop taught by musical veterans from New York's Magnet Theater, students will learn the fundamentals of musical improv: How to structure a song, how to improvise choreography, and how to heighten their comedic choices into full-blown musical numbers. No need to be an experienced singer, and no prior musical theater experience necessary!

Michael Lutton: is the Artistic Director of the Magnet Theater in New York City. Before taking on his current role, he was the Director of the Magnet's Musical Improv program for many years. In addition to his role as AD, Michael has been an improv instructor at the Magnet since 2011, and has taught improv and musical improv to thousands of students around the world. He can currently be seen every Friday in Premiere: The Improvised Musical.

Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 1-2pm break for Lunch
